Electric Hoist Gantry Crane
The Electric Hoist Gantry Crane is a versatile lifting solution suitable for workshops, warehouses, and outdoor yards. It combines the mobility of a gantry structure with the efficiency of an electric hoist for smooth and precise material handling.
1. Gantry structure: Mainly single main beam, supplemented by double main beams
The mainstream is the single main beam gantry (mostly made of Q235B/Q355B steel, with a box-type or truss-type cross-section). Rigid legs (C-type, H-type, or L-type) are installed on one or both sides. The bottom of the legs is connected to the trolley traveling mechanism (light wheel set, single-drive/double-drive motor), which can move longitudinally along the ground track. The single main beam structure has a light self-weight (30%-50% lighter than double-beam models of the same tonnage), has low requirements on foundation bearing capacity (usually 100-200kPa), and is suitable for small and medium-sized sites.Double main beam models (mostly for medium-load requirements above 16 tons) adopt two parallel box-type beams, with heavy-duty rigid legs, providing stronger bearing stability. They are suitable for scenarios requiring frequent lifting of 16-32 tons of materials (such as medium-sized machinery factories), but their cost and self-weight are higher than single main beam models.
2. Core hoisting mechanism: Standardized electric hoist
Mature CD1/MD1 type electric hoists (or customized hoists) are directly used as the hoisting unit, which are fixed on the track under the main beam with bolts (upper-mounted: the hoist body is above the main beam, suitable for high lifting requirements; lower-mounted: the hoist body is under the main beam, suitable for low-rise workshops). This eliminates the complex design of the "independent lifting trolley" in double-beam models, reducing manufacturing costs and maintenance difficulties. The electric hoist integrates four modules: winch, hook, pulley block, and traveling trolley. It supports "lifting/lowering" actions, and the traveling trolley can move transversely along the main beam track, realizing three-dimensional operations of "longitudinal (trolley) + transverse (hoist) + vertical (lifting)".
3. Simplified operation and control system
Trolley traveling mechanism: Small tonnage (0.5-10 tons) mostly uses single drive (driven by a motor on one side), medium tonnage (16-32 tons) uses double drive (synchronous operation of motors on both sides), with a running speed of 5-20m/min, starting smoothly without impact, suitable for frequent start-stop in light and medium load scenarios.Operation mode: Mainly ground wireless remote control (the remote control supports four-dimensional control: lifting, lowering, trolley forward/backward, hoist left/right movement). Some medium-tonnage models can be equipped with a small operating room (with real-time load display). The electrical system is modularly designed (control box, limit switch, and cable are all standardized components), with a protection level of mostly IP44/IP54. Components can be directly replaced during maintenance, reducing technical thresholds.
4. Basic safety protection configuration
Full coverage of core safety functions: The hoisting mechanism is equipped with "overload protection" (automatically stops when exceeding 10% of the rated load) and "lifting height limiter" (prevents the hook from rushing to the top); the trolley/
